Lithium batteries may experience thermal runaway during production, storage, and transportation due to external impact, short circuits, or individual quality abnormalities. To help employees more intuitively understand the fire development process, the drill simulated a real battery fire, including smoke generation, flame spread, and the potential risks associated with thermal runaway.
Through explanations and demonstrations by professionals, employees gained a deeper understanding of the need to strictly adhere to safe operating procedures in battery-related areas, avoid piling up debris, maintain ventilation, follow charging and discharging procedures, and promptly identify and report abnormal cells or battery packs.
